Interactive Packaging for Office Supplies

When we think of office supplies. We just assume that their purpose is to help one around the office. But did you know that there are now new ways to make your interactive packaging even more fun for office supplies.

It’s a growing trend, with more and more types of packaging appealing to the masses. Even the most professional products use this. In this day and age, making something memorable matters, especially with technology taking the forefront.

Here, we’ll go over some of the new interactive packaging, which both include and don’t include using your phone, to create a unique and playful experience for all of the users that engage with this product.

Packaging Interactive Elements

A lot of times, you don’t need some fancy code or unique technology to make it interactive. Interactive means that a person can engage with the item, and enhance the experience. One example of this is pull tabs. You can get a tab, pull on this, and then open it to showcase new features. This is a functionality that really adds to the surprise.

Pop ups are another.   Sometimes, you can have the customer tear along the perforated edges, and then they get a nice little surprise.

Finally, you have elements for folding the item, which in turn, make it even more fun for the person to work with. The goal of this is to create an element of surprise for the customers. Giving them something unique and interesting isn’t just a suggestion, but it’s a necessity that will really make it shine.

The Digital Experience

However, it doesn’t just have to be the physical elements that make a product stand out. Sometimes, digital elements play a major role in the packaging interactivity that a lot of people rely on.

For instance, you can add an AR experience, where the customer is able to interact with the item through their phone, making it appealing to them. you can add some unique facts, or other interactive elements that really give a customer something to enjoy. For office supplies, this plays a role in how someone might use it, further enhancing the overall interactivity of the items, and the brand itself.

You also may want to use QR codes. These are quick response codes that take a person to either their social media page, various branding information, or even coupons they can scan after they purchase the item. With so many people wanting interactivity, but don't want anything too in-depth, this is a form of interactivity that can really stand out, and make it playful.

Why do This

With a lot of companies wanting to make it exciting for customers, this is almost a necessity. You want to capture the interest of consumers in a way that benefits them, while also enhancing the memorability of the brand, through the use of playful packaging. Many times, people look for something that they can engage with, and with this type of packaging, it does just that.

Office supplies can benefit from this. being able to try it out, and use it in unique ways really enhances the experience, and makes customers excited.

The biggest challenge for most of these companies is the precarious balance between interactive packaging, and that appeal for your office supplies. You want to make it look good, and feel good, while also making it an experience that people will remember. This is something important, and something that, for many people, can be a huge part of it.

Lots of brands rely on this, so keep these in mind if you decide to use it.
